Each multi-purpose hair care product utilizes nature’s bounties wherever possible: de-ionized water for purity; proteins from
​sheep wool; moisturizers from soybeans, ​beeswax, macadamia seed and corn; ​and scented with ruby-red grapefruit. 
​Our products are sulfate, paraben and gluten free and there is no animal testing.

Corn

Our Agrimaize (Corn) is non-GMO and is USDA certified moisturizer derived from nature’s cornfields, this premium ingredient truly bringing fashion to a whole new level.  It reduces skin irritation and adds moisture to enhance your hair’s natural sheen, flexibility and softness. ​

Sheep Wool

Our Companion Keratins are two sizes of natural proteins that are derived from sheep wool  work together to give unique strength and protection to the hair.  One keratin protein molecule penetrates to strengthen and moisturize each hair strand.  The second, larger keratin protein molecule, surrounds the hair strand delivering UV protection, thermal protection and shine.

Coconut

Our Effervescence XL is a superior foaming agent harvested from coconuts. This coconut oil derivative contributes incredible softness to hair and the creamy foam that is created adds maximum spreadability of the coconut oil to add loftiness and manageability.

Soybeans

Soybeans are steeped in farm history, Its elegant by-product – Glycerin – is a proven performer that add incredible body, flexibility and manageability to hair.  New approaches in applied sciences have discovered more effective ways to refine this premier ingredient from soybean fields so that it performs beautifully in hair care products. Water soluble, it is a clear, natural moisturizer.  ​

Macadamia Seed

Macademia seed is truly a premium ingredient and superior to many competitive oils.  It helps to prevent against hair breakage by penetrating the hair follicles to improve hair strength and elasticity.  The essential fatty acids and vitamin compounds found in macadamia seeds help to eliminate frizz by coating the hair shaft with nourishing oils.   Since its consistency is similar to that of natural body oils, macadamia seed is easily absorbed by the skin and hair resulting in Anti-Aging properties.

Beeswax

Bees know best when it comes to building stability. Our naturally-obtained Beeswax softly adds texture, defines and tames hair, taking out the frizzies and smoothing out a style’s fly-aways. Beeswax is an exceptional natural alternative to mineral oil (which is made from petroleum). It forms a protective wall by sealing in moisture and re-hydrating dry hair.

Garden Vegetables

Duo Proteins. This two-sized, DUAL-ACTION PROTEIN is derived from nature’s gardens. One size penetrates the hair shaft to increase moisture content and strength and the other –  a larger protein – surrounds the outside of the hair shaft to protect and reinforce the cuticle, provide thermal and UV protection and fight frizz during humid days.

Ruby Red Grapefruit

Fresh. Tart. And Sweet. A wake-me-up-with-a-smile scent that’s lightly refreshing and invigorating. Considered a “perfect” citrus fragrance, it awakens the senses, is lively and uplifting, and puts one in the mood to start the day in a happy place. 

Purified and Deionized Water

Simply the purest, cleanest water! Filtered and processed to produce water of the high purity, this two-step process removes or neutralizes trace contaminants to create water that allows any added ingredient to show off its best attributes without minerals or other impurities.

No Animal Testing

Of course we don’t test on animals.  We’re from a farm where we care for them.​

Gluten Free

When we listened to our consumers, we found many people simply want to reduce their intake of  gluten.   Lis’n uses gluten free proteins to add strength to the hair

Paraben Free:

Parabens are a preservative  found to be questionable in it’s safety for our bodies.  So at Lis’n we decided to go the super safe route and leave them out of our formulation. 

Sulfate Free:

Why it matters:
  • Sulfates give the shampoo it’s lather and are very good at it.  So good at it they can strip your hair and skin of natural oils and proteins that keep it healthy. 
  • Sulfates can also be a skin irritant.  Often times people think they have dandruff when they could have irritated and dry scalp from sulfates. 
  • It pollutes our groundwater.  It is toxic to fish and other aquatic animals. 

We are Minnesota made and ship directly from our farm.

Why it Matters:
Minnesota is home to industry greats such as Aveda, Scruples, LeMaur, Graham Webb, Brocato.  What that means for you is in Minnesota, there exists a pool of  great chemists, mixologists, fillers and many key personnel who deliver a great, functional product.   It is a culture of high standards.
